Help completely clean my comp so I can apply as MRU student (page 2)

I started noticing that my computer is slower than usual and behaving eratically once in a while (ad pop-ups, active window deselects, slow boot up, and slower surfing expereince). I don't exactly know when it started and what program I downloaded that caused it (theres 2 other ppl using this pc). I thought about paying someone to fix it but I decided to try to do it myself. So I started my online trek to find a solution. Lots of reading and I didn't just find one solution but many. Here's a couple of solutions that I did on my PC and helped out tremendously. 1. Uninstall programs that I didn't even know existed and programs that i'm not using and run Disk cleanup and defragment. 2. Disabled about 3/4 of start up programs. 3. Finally, went to ewido.net and run an online scan and fix on my pc. Unfortunately, I didn't exactly know what kind of infection my pc has but it seems to have disappear since my PC works a lot better now, not perfect but better. I understand that there are viruses
