Hello

As my username may indicate, I am very frustrated. My computer has been running sluggishly recently, so I naturally suspected an infection of some sort. I ran malwarebytes' full scan, and discovered 13 infected files. When I went to remove them, malwarebytes froze. I then discovered that no only was malwarebytes frozen, my entire computer was frozen and I was unable to do anything else, which I could only resolve by rebooting my computer. Of course, by rebooting, malwarebytes lost the scan information and I couldn't go back and remove those infected files. After scanning it again, the computer froze again.

Now, I've managed to get some temporary performance out of my computer by seeking out and shutting down the processes of these files from my task manager, enough so that I could get online and ask you experts: What is wrong here? And how can I fix it?

We need to know what's running on your computer so that we can provide the appropriate instructions.
