One other question. I formatted my HD and Reinstalled XP and found some of the programs i had b4 the format still on there. (Aim, HJT, etc...) Is that normal?

No that's not normal for a format and reinstall. Are the programs on another partition or did you do a repair install?

Not seeing much in there, except for 1 line

Run HijackThis
Click on do a system scan only
Place a checkmark next to these lines(if still present)

{3AF4DACE-36ED-42EF-9DFC-ADC34DA30CFF} "XPPatchInstaller.CAB" O16

Then close all windows except Hijackthis and click Fix Checked

Restart

Run an online virus scan called Kapersky from HERE.

1. Click on "Kapersky Online Scanner"
2. A new smaller window will pop up. Press on "Accept". After reading the contents.
3. Now Kapersky will update the anti-virus database. Let it run.
4. Click on "Next">"Scan Settings", and make sure the database is set to "extended". And check both the scan options. Then click OK.
5. Then click on "My Computer". And the scan will start.
6. Once finished, save a log as ".txt" to the desktop. And restart.

Post back with the Kaspersky log and a new HjackThis log

Now that i think about i might have done a repair by accident, but i dont think so. Plus just some things were left behind, all my music, movies, pics etc...were all gone. Anyways here the new hijack log and kasper log. The Kasper came up clean though.

Awww crap in a bucket! I was looking at that step by step guide for installing windows, and instead of pressing 'D' to delete a partition i pressed 'enter' instead, which will just overwrite that OS with the new one. Meh well im off to format AGAIN!
