I agree. This coming from a Ferrari fan.

I didn't agree for the Bridstone users to go out last year. Having said that. It isn't their fault.

But it certainly looks like Alonso is under pressure for the first time in awhile. And who is there to take advantage? Who else but the legend Schumi.

They say it may rain today (it starts in 6 hrs whilst typing this post). I hope it does. With the diamond cut track. Would be interesting to see who has the better wet tyres. And who steps up to the plate!

Andy :)

No sign of rain... and 40 degs! (that's 104 degs in old money, I think?)

Nice wreck at the first corner.

Seven cars taken out... and Heidfeld flipping through the air!

Schumi won. Suprised to see Fisichella on the pace-ish and Alonso not!

Did you know the Ferrari had reduced revs? Boasts well for the french gp in two weeks. :)

Alonso was definately off the pace today... though it was nice to see Fisichella do well.

And what about Massa... his peformance was very good.

Poor Jaques... he blew up :P

Just found this survey over on the MS Tech Blogs RSS feed:

Formula 1 Survey 2006
Ah, if there's one thing that'll get me out of bed and onto the couch at 4:30 in the morning, it's Formula 1. 'course, that was before I had a Media Centre, but I still pretend I'm watching it live these days!

Digression alert! Uh, there's another Formula One survey being run this year. I'm not exactly sure what the results of last year were, or what they were used for, but the new qualifying format was more fun to watch than a couple of the races, and it's great to have tyre changes back in the pitstops.

If you're an F1 fan, go fill out the survey, shape the sport the way you want it.
