GAME: Corrupted Wishes

Unread postby Angoid » May 18th, 2005, 3:51 am

This is something I just stumbled onto in another forum, where the game is flying.

What happens is that I create a wish, and the next person has to corrupt it in some way. Then they add they wish. The next poster has to corrupt that wish then add their own, and so on.

Thus, if I say, "I wish for a hot summer", someone may reply with, "Your wish is granted, but it's so hot that you suffer from heat exhaustion." That person then makes their own wish, for example, "I wish I could eat more chocolate." The next person would corrupt that one and then add their own wish.

Get it?

Let's start.....

I wish I didn't have to come to work every day.

(I'll make the first reply to prevent having to "bump" it)

Granted, but you get very bored sitting at home.

I wish I could eat more chocolate.

I wish the days were longer

You would only get used to that and wish for longer again.

I wish for Happyness.

Granted, but you'd write code with lots of bugs in it.

I wish those people who wrote CWS could get a one-way ticket to the moon.

Granted, but then one of them gets a misguided idea for a fix, propagates it to all the others, and more computers are trashed as a result.

I wish Microsoft would write a version of Windows that didn't crash.

Granted, but then that would lead to a perfect operating system and nothing can be perfect,. plus you cant vent your frustration at Billy G when/if something does happen

I wish I had finished my assignments

Granted, but then you get the results back and find you've failed them all.

I wish there was no such thing as a difficult customer.

Granted, but because you rushed to finish them, your marks weren't as good as they normally are.

I wish I didn't have to pay bills.

Granted, but then your wife sees all this extra money and spends it all on your behalf.

I wish there was no such thing as a difficult customer (try again as 'Kota Guy and I posted the last one simultaneously).

Granted. But then your cat would have hair three feet long and you would have to spend the better part of the day combing it so it wouldn't become one big matted up mess.

Not to mention you would have a hot, sweaty, kitty that would probably be in a foul mood most of the time.

I wish more people used common sense to guide them.

Granted, but we all make mistakes and this leads to people thinking these answers are right (and a domino effect starts)

I wish I had a car, i have a license
