My computer has been slow lately (although it may not be because of malware), and it sometimes takes a while to open any of my internet browsers. In addition to this, there are shortcuts on my desktop that have their Target changed to the Temp folder, making the shortcuts useless. This has happened once already, but I was able to change the target back to the original folders. The Start In field gets set to C:\Users\Alexey\AppData\Local\Temp\

This is greatly irritating, and I suspect winupd.exe. I have heard rumors about it, and don't know what it is, but have seen "Temp:winupd.exe" in my Processes in Windows Task Manager, and was very confused when I first saw it.

I could not run DDS, as it requires an administrator login, and my administrator is unavailable for the next week and a half. I used HiJackThis instead, and I hope it helps. Can you please explain that statement.

From the way you say "my administrator", that would suggest this is not your computer, since most owners can elevate to administrator privileges by right-clicking a program and selecting "run as an Administrator".

Meaning it is a computer in my room, but my dad is the administrator. I do not have administrator privileges. My parents are very strict about electronics usage in the house...

In that case you're going to need your Dad to contact us, since all the tools we need to use require Administrator privileges to work effectively.

It is not possible for someone with User privileges to remove things that have been installed with Administrator privileges, and all Malware is installed with Administrator privileges, which is why our tools have to have similar access.
