Introducing myself

Unread postby solinus » December 1st, 2010, 1:52 pm

I began my technical career while in the USN working as an Interior Communications Expert (fancy title for phone and alarm tech). My first computer was a TRS80 Model 100 with Eight-bit Intel 80C85, CMOS, 2.4 MHz Processor and 32K ROM. It cost me close to $1200.00 and could run on 4 "AA" batteries for about 20 hours. I was surfing (and I use that term loosely) the web in 1984 through Compuserve. I love technology and what we can make it do. I find that playing with CLI is more fun than any other hobby I have...........
My certifications include:
MCTS(x2) | MCSA+ | MCSE+ | Security + | CCNA | WCSP | DSCE | PCT |CIW Security Analyst | CSSA

Member of: Infragard Boston;....... ISSA;........ HTCN.........
I currently am employed as a Technology and Systems Consultant in the Boston area.
