Nah, not for me ........... I love Winter. I'd be happy if it were 8 months long.
You can't ski if there's no snow, and I've been a skiing addict for a long, long time.
As for a sunny Scottish Summer .....
- There's no such thing.
- If there were it would be spoilt by the midges.

Would love a cool autumn just now. Yesterday was about 33 degrees C and today is supposed to be about the same with about 22 at night. Not pleasant at all and not normal this late in the year .
I am all with you Gary when it comes to skiing. I love it and have been doing it when I have a chance for the last 60+ years.
Anywhere where there's some nice inclines and a reasonable chance of getting snow.
Mostly in France, the US, and Canada, but I have skied in Italy and Austria as well, and in my younger years once spent a day on the slopes in New Zealand.
Don't ask me the name of the NZ "resort" because it was a very long time ago (circa 1976) and I can't remember it, all I can tell you is it was on the North Island, and that it was quite a long drive from Aukland over some pretty dreadful roads.
