Browser Hack

Unread postby Xalatan » September 14th, 2010, 8:18 am

Hi, i seem to have a browser hack which has also infected my daughters netbook which is on our home network, everytime we click on a search link we get redirected to sites such as k directory and very often pornograpic sites, i have run virgin security scans also spybot, malwarebytes and adaware all to no avail. I found a link to your site at computeractive forums and tried to do a HJT scan where i encounter two problems, first HJT cannot access the hosts file so i followed instructions and have a copy of this file saved to my computer and second after HJT scans it will not import its findings into a log in notebook for me to put on your forum, any help or advice would be greatly appreciated, Thanks.
