I. Explorer - Malware / Spyware problem.

Good Morning!

As you can see, I am a new member, and find these forums completely by accident trying to solve a problem.

When I search on google, I keep getting redirected. For example, yesterday, I searched for Charterhouse Aquatics, I clicked the top link (this was the correct one, have used them before just couldnt remember the address) and up pops .... The Ebay log in page.

I have already run, Malwarebytes, CCleaner, startuplite (as too much rubbish running in background). Also HostsXpert.

I have tried several times to download and use S&D - however, although it will download and update, it will not open!! - It is in the toolbar area, SD-Resident, but this will also not open (has a padlock on it if it makes any difference).

I also have avast installed - this does not pick anything up.

I have Hijack This installed also if it is needed. (I have removed some of the above programs but can download them again if needed)

Any help greatly appreciated.
Many Thanks
