I was told I possibly have a google re-direct virus

Hello guys

I have firefox and using windows xp on my desktop and I notice that now when i put something in my browser window, instead of bringing up all of the links and options it now goes to a list like funny looking list, s short list. It looks nothing like what options google brings up or even what firebox used to bring up. What could have happened?

now i have to just type what i have in the little google window but I liked typing in my long firefox browser window. Anyone know what happened? I also right clicked on the little box beside the browser window and it has the options with navigation toolbar, menu toolbar, bookmarks toolbar and yahoo toolbar checked.

I was told I possibly have a google re-direct virus and I would like some help with this please. Thanks i nadvance
