Disable Microsoft Anti-Spyware
In the system tray in the lower right, locate the MS Anti-Spy red Bullseye.
Right click it.
Highlight Security Agents Status(Enabled) and click Disable Real Time Protection.
Right click the Bullseye again to be sure it now shows Security Agents Status (Disabled).

Move HijackThis into its own folder. It is now in a temporary folder whose contents may get deleted. This would destroy the backups made by HiJackThis.
To make a new permanent folder: Go to My Computer, doubleclick C:
- Click File, New, Folder
- type in HJT
You now have a new folder at C:\HJT\. Copy all the HijackThis files from its present location into the new folder. Delete the files from the old location.

Use Add/Remove Programs In Control Panel
From Start, Settings, Control Panel or Start, Control Panel, click Add/Remove Programs.
Highlight each Entry, as follows, one by one, if it exists, and choose Remove :
PaqTools
Starware
Ares
Incredimail
Take extra care in answering questions posed by any Uninstaller. If any Uninstaller asks you to reboot, do it.
Some questions may be worded to deceive you into Keeping the program.

Make sure Every other window except HJT is closed (No other tabs showing in the bottom tray), and Click Fix Checked.

Folder Deletion.
In Windows Explorer (My Computer), select View, Details. Then Find and Delete these folder(s), if present:
C:\Program Files\PaqTools\ <== delete this paqtools folder
C:\Program Files\Starware\ <== delete this Starware folder
C:\Program Files\Ares\ <== delete this folder
C:\Program Files\Incredimail\ <== delete this folder
C:\Documents and Settings\YOURUSERNAME\Application Data\Starware\ <==delete this Starware folder
Substitute your user "maria.." for YOURUSERNAME here. Check for a Starware folder under any other User name as well and delete.
Note any folder you cannot delete.
You may have to delete all the underlying files and folders before a target folder can be deleted.
If you have any problem deleting a file, right click the file and check Properties to see if it's read-only. Uncheck the read-only box, click Apply and OK. Then retry Delete.
If a message pops up saying "File in use", or something like that, hit Ctrl-Alt-Delete and look under the Processes tab. If the filename is in there, click End Process, then retry delete.
Note the name and location of any file you cannot delete.

Post a New HJT Log
Reboot your computer. Start HijackThis. Click Do System Scan and Save a Log File.
When the Scan is complete, select the whole log (Ctrl-A), copy and paste the log contents in a reply.
