Need Help - Computer stutters

When I try to play music that is saved to my music library the music "stutters".
Also anytime I try to burn a disc with photos on it it tells me to put a clean disc in. No matter how many disc I put in it tells me that each time. The only way I can burn a disc is through kodak easy share.
