Need Help with Malware/Virus Removal

I feel like i have this virus/malware or something but every time i do a scan nothing comes up. I DID catch this ZANGO thing and got rid of it but I'm still having problems. The trash can says there's something perpetually in there like 6 items and when i empty it and go look in it there's nothing there but still the icon says there's something there and it always tells me if i'm sure i want to delete these 6 items.

Also something keeps eating my hard drive space. I keep deleting files to get more space and had 10Gb at one point and it just keeps dwindling away until the programs I'm running either lock/freeze or I have to reboot to regain hd space.
