I posted here a day ago but couldn't get the HiJackThis log the logo does not have a run as administrator option for me to save the log. Therefore the only way i have been able to save this is to screen print. This i have attached a word document.

An administrator suggested i run rkill, which i did, but did not say what to once run, so i have included all of this, along with the unistall log, in the hope that someone can help me, as google keeps redirecting me.

Thanks in advance

Tina

Unfortunately, we cannot work from screenshots. Please try these modified instructions and see if you can successfully save a log:

Go here to download HijackThis: >HijackThis<

  • Select version 2.04 and download the Executable to your computer's desktop. (It is important that you select the Executable, not the Installer).

  • Right click the executable and select "Run as administrator" from the list.

  • If you get a pop-up asking if the program should be allowed to run, select "yes."

  • Once the program has opened, choose the option to "Do a system scan and save a log file."

  • HijackThis will scan your system and then it will save a copy to your desktop. It will
also open the log file it creates so that you can select and copy the text, which you should
then be able to paste into a new topic.

This topic is now closed. Please follow the above instructions for HijackThis and post your log in a new topic.
