During a recent password audit, it was found that a secretary was using the following password:
"MickeyMinniePlutoHueyLouieDeweyDonaldGoofySacramento"

When asked why she had such a long password, she said she was told that it had to be at least 8 characters long and include at least one capital.

As amusing as the subject might be I freely admit, the serious side is many assume such a password as my esteemed colleague mentioned would be good..........It is not most unfortunately.

For those who may read this topic pay a visit to:-

Password checker

Perfectly safe and does provide some advise about what to consider when creating a password.

A pass-phrase is better than a password in my opinion

I would use a password, but mix it up with uppercase and lowercase characters, and the odd number.. use 1 for i and 0 for o
(ie...Liverpoolfc...........would be L1eRp0olFc :)
