Possible Takeover

I bought a new hard drive last summer because the old one was completely unresponsive. Well this new one although installed by mall experts has never run quite right. There was difficulty accepting programs that I had all of the original (legitimate) disks to. I am constantly getting low disk space errors and it blinks while using Facebook. (The web pages sorta go out/shakes for a split second and then comes back.) I started using Facebook only with this new computer so I know it was not the cause of my last computer's death but I don't want to watch this computer die too.
I noticed today that when I turned the computer on the black screen was kinda dark grey for a while and the warm up screens did not start for a while. They took about 1-2 minutes longer than normal to begin. That has never happened before. I have deleted some storage off of drive D and I have defragmented D: (C was fine). C says that there is 90+ percent of free space and D has about 45%. I do not know why the low disk space is popping up. Nor do I know why the pages shake on Facebook. I also do not know if Facebook is a P2P as per your rules but I am willing to discontinue using it if need be. I really believe that I got a bug from that site. I started getting weird friend messages from my cousin who never sent them.
OK I think I have talked enough so here is my info. I hope you can help. Thanks.
