My misunderstanding ...

Photodex was already uninstalled ...

I have a license for Nero v7 ... those installers came from Ahead Software ... but were deleted anyway.

Freecommander, Unlocker and DVD2SVCD are freeware, and debatably malware, and none of these are installed nor available to "add/remove programs" ... however, all installers were deleted.

MS Office CD iso deleted ...

All installers that have a keygen have been deleted ...

This computer is much better behaved now. The only problems is that "something" still opens tabs in Firefox, but it happens only infrequently ... not too invasive, but it still indicates something is wrong.

I'll certainly let you know if anything else appears to be mis-behaved ...

Due to a lack of response, this topic is now closed.

If you still require help, please open a new thread in the Infected? Virus, malware, adware, ransomware, oh my! forum, include a fresh FRST log, and wait for a new helper.
