Google search redirecting to ad sites

Unread postby varexanth » May 30th, 2010, 1:19 pm

Sorry about this, you guys, I'm an idiot when it comes to this sort of thing. I read everything on this site I should have before posting, so let's hope I do this correctly.

Problem: Google searches are redirecting to various advertising sites or just other bizarre sites. Computer is also somewhat slower. Neither Macafee, Norton, or SpyDoctor have found anything.

I attached my HijackThis Log as .txt file, hope that works. Now I just ned to find out how to get rid of this crap without inadvertantly wrecking anything necessary and useful. I hear horror stories about this kind of thing happening, so any advice, suggestions or help would be incredibly appreciated.

Thanks in advance!
