Gone back on the secunia website- and it keeps trying to load up the Java applet- it states
Status / Currently Processing:

Eventually it said that there may be a problem with the Java Applet- and could not perfrom the scan.
I ran the other tool- named "Secunia Personal Software Inspector (PSI) "- and it produced this result.

For the programs that are found to be insecure you need to update to the latest versions - removing the older, insecure versions.
Note that for any software that requires a one off payment or a paid subscription, it's your own prerogative whether you choose to pay to update these or not
As this forum specializes in malware removal, if you continue to have non-malware related issues I think the best and fastest solution for you is to post on a general PC troubleshooting forum.
These sites have a variety of experts, that are better equipped to investigate and resolve more general problems.
