Laptop has Windows Vista HOME PREMIUM.
I have reviewed most posts and cannot find the exact problems as my laptop - so hence decided to start a topic.
After booting up - as normal - this is what is shown & what happens:

** At the same time it shows an INFILTRATION ALERT virus alert in the bottom right hand corner to inform that an attack,trojans or similar has been found - the names are win32/Nuquel.E or BankerFox.A ... if I then say BLOCK this attack - it tries to connect over the internet and stays on the same site "http://virremover.com/purchase?r=57.6"
** At the same time I get "Windows security alert - Application cannot be executed. The file wuauclt.exe is infected. Do you want to activate your antivirus softaware now?"
** At the same time it randomly connects to porn or viagra sites. BUT IT WILL NOT ALLOW ME TO connect to any valid sites like Google or anything?
I copied over & tried to install AVG Free AntiVirus software - copied OK but does not run - it gives me the impression it is about to run but does nothing ...
I am concerned (as per other instructions in other posts) that you will ask me to download apps like HiJackThis or something and I will not be able to execute it in normal mode - can all of these utilities run is SAFE mode?
Please help & I will follow whatever instructions you give me?
