Google search brings up blank page/previous redirect

Hi all. recently I stumbled on a website that loaded up a pop up that was hard to close. It kept popping up dialogue boxes that took forever to get through. Since then Google had been redirecting me to random spam sites. I did do some sort of fix, I believe with a malware type program. Cant remember I ran it and forgot about it. UNTIL I started up google once more and instead of redirects, I get blank pages. I have to open 5-7 tabs before one will open the page. I downloaded a winsockfix that I found reported would fix this. It didnt. I installed AVG anti virus, and spybot, neither found anything. I got a hijack this log and I dont see any odd things here. (Cant tell if this is related but today I had to reset my router as it was not connecting to this pc, or my wifi on iPod Touch). So here goes, Im wondering if it played around with my dns server settings or something, people have been saying this on other forums.
