Hijacker got me. Can't get it back

I am not a savy user at all. This hijacker has taken over my computer. I ran my internet providers security package and a freebie program called adaware. I also uninstalled the p2p program I was using call utorrent. The big green background is gone and the popups aren't well popping up any more but my computer is still misbehaving
