Virus/Trojan Sending E-mails from My Hotmail Account

Dear Sirs - I have noticed a slew of "Mail Delivery Failure" e-mails in my Hotmail Inbox from addresses that I don;t recognize. Additionally, yesterday, I also got several e-mails from family members (annoyed) wondering why I was sending them SPAM relating to Viagra, etc. I explained that I noticed some odd things lately and that I must be infected (despite my protection with TrendMicro) with some sort of virus or trojan.

Hi...thanks for your responding. This is a personal computer which, from time to time, I will access my business computer via VPN.
