bestsearchworld.com google redirect. please take pity

Unread postby gryphin » January 10th, 2010, 2:07 am

Hello there. For the second time I am coming to beg for your help. I have tried to learn from my lesson before. I have not done any p2p sharing. I do have limewire installed on my computer, and I thought about deleting before starting, but, honesty usally works best.

Ok, here is the problem. Whenever I go to google and do a search, the search page comes up with the results, but whenever I click on Any of the results, I am redirected to seemingly random webpages. However, they all seem to go through bestsearchworld.com. Instead of the path that is indicated on google, I push the link, then it shows bestsearchworld.com with a bunch of additional link paths and backslashes behind bestsearchworld.com. Then I am redirected to a random, legitimate seeming website. So far it seems to only happen to google searches.

I believe I know when I got it. I have a fingerprint scanner on my computer, and the other day I used it on a website to login, and it said it wouldn't work and I had to download and install an update. I really cannot believe I was that stupid. I searched bestsearchworld.com on msn.com's engine and I saw results that had HJT logs in them and I knew I was in serious trouble.

I see now that I am about to post this it seems like other people are having the same thing. I guess it is a widespread nasty one.

Can you please please help me? MacAfee does nothing. You people are absolutely saints for being here to do this kind of thing. Please help.
