I installed avg9.0 but it was from a torrent site so it could have been a virus, I'm currently using kaspersky trial version and Malwarebyte's anti-malware.
I installed a program called ihatekeyloggers which i later on found out was a keylogger itself but i dont know how to remove it and if it's still on my computer... my current download speed is at 20kbs max... from 150kbs that i had before.
edit: I also wanted to add that i am using a 2wire modem/router and that i use wireless keyboard/mouse.
