Virus found in PC Game, DVDRom hasn't worked since! Plz Help

My DVDRom hasn't worked since I installed a PC Game called "Home Sweet Home" a virus was detected in the game. I have already uninstalled the game & ran several virus & spyware programs & not having any luck! sad.gif The DVDRom started opening up on it's own & once it finally stopped doing that, it won't do anything! I'm new here, so I hope I'm doing this correctly! (crossing fingers) Any help will be highly appreciated! Much thanx n' advance! smile.gif
