Sorry for the delay
Real life caught up with me.
Please download process explorer from here:
http://www.sysinternals.com/Utilities/P ... lorer.html
Once you download it, unzip the folder, and then run processexplorerNT
You will get a message about symbols. Tell the program you don't need to configure the symbols.

Once you get to the main pane, double click on explorer.exe
A window will pop up. Click on the threads tab
Use your mouse to select the different threads (at the top half of the box)
With each thread, look at the kernel time and the User time. TEll me which ones are using the most amount of CPU time. Try to do this while the explorer process is using 100% cpu

Thanks

According to the software, and from your instructions it seems mostly kernal time that uses the cpu, some threads is more to user time and other thread is vice versa. There is more threads that is more kernal time than user time.

Does this make any sense to you?

It ok about the delay I know we have our life to deals with :)

Thanks, PJ

It now gone user time, starts with kernal time more to start wit then over time it goes user time. Does this may means I might have to reinstall xp again or what?

Which specific threads are chewing up the CPU?, not the explorer.exe itself?
