Glad to hear you're back Jim.

Have had the same operation myself, so know how painful it can be. (OK it was 35 years ago, but I can still remember it).

Take it easy, and hope you're fully recovered soon.

Thanks for all the good wishes. They mean a lot to me.

Gary, as you probably remember, this isn't one of those procedures that leaves you with much choice as far as taking it easy is concerned! But I'm happy to report that I seem to be making steady progress.

Sorry for being so late with my well wishes Jim... :( but I have been away from the "game" and this site for a bit (needed a wee bit of a break..."Brain Drain"). I just clicked in today and saw your thread.

I wish you a very speeding recovery. It is good to see that you are well enough to post.

Take care :D :D

Thanks, dobhar! It's good to be well enough to post! Although if you look at my first post after I came home from the hospital earlier in the thread, the fact that I repeated myself in the first sentence makes it clear that I was somewhat less lucid than usual!

Thanks, Susan. That was a pretty debilitating incident, but I'm recovering nicely, albeit more slowly than I'd like! :)
