Malware redirecting google searches

Unread postby ChrisSl789 » October 7th, 2009, 8:48 pm

When I do a google search and choose a link, often (but not always) I am redirected to a completely different site. I used Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware, which scanned and removed a few things (below), but that did not fix the problem. My full HijackThis log file is below. Thanks.

Registry Keys Infected:
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\popcaploader.popcaploaderctrl2 (Adware.PopCap) -> Quarantined and deleted successfully.
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\popcaploader.popcaploaderctrl2.1 (Adware.PopCap) -> Quarantined and deleted successfully.

Files Infected:
C:\install.exe (Trojan.Agent) -> Quarantined and deleted successfully.
