BAAAAAAAAAAAAAD infection...

Unread postby JCH » September 19th, 2009, 4:17 am

Hello,

I have been battling all of yesterday with an infection which prevents me from running programs such as AWC3, MBAM...etc... (it says that "Windows cannot access the file, You may not have the appropriate permission").SAS has been running (with a special start-up exe found on another site) found some stuff removed it but the problem is still here. I have also noticed that the webpage for Malwarebytes is actually redirected to some othersites (was e-bay once...)

AV scans don't seem to pick up on this (I have AVIRA running).

I have downloaded HJT, installed it, and tried to run it, it started and then shut down. I can't run it anymore... same problem than with AWC3... It looks like the malware sense it is being sniffed and found out and shut down the program doing this...

Where should I take it from here ???

Thank you in advance for your help.
