PC slows down to a halt and freezed..Please Help

Unread postby onuel » August 27th, 2009, 3:15 pm

Please help, I use this pc for my home base business. I've noticed a considerable slowing down of my PC for a couple of weeks now. The worst problem is when I leave it running overnight, there is just no way I can use it next morning because it so slow and most of the time it freezes. I have to restart it to go back to its usual speed. Firefox takes forever the first time opening it.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Regie

Business or Corporate Computer
Unfortunately, we cannot help remove malware from any business or corporate computer.
Many of these type systems may have specific modifications made..which could be removed or damaged by the tools we use. These altered systems may also hinder our tools, possibly reducing their effectiveness in removing the malware. If this computer is infected, there's a good chance (as in many businesses) other networked computers have been infected as well.

An extract taken from Malware Removal's rules:
We do not help in cleaning business or corporate computers. There may be restrictions and modifications installed on such machines that could be damaged or altered by the actions we take to remove Malware.
There may also be legal issues regarding any loss of business data that we do not wish to deal with.
If you ask for help and unknown to us, it involves a business computer, you need to understand that any damages resulting from our advice are YOUR RESPONSIBILITY.
Based on the possibility of doing more harm or damage to your computer. I strongly advise that you contact your IT department.
Make them aware of the problems you are having. If your computer is infected (possibly others as well), your IT department needs to be aware of this, so they can devise a plan to minimize any business impact.

If you do not have an IT department, it is advisable to contract an individual or agency to handle these types of situations. There are other reputable malware removal sites that may have a different policy on business computers, that can assist you, as well.

I'm sorry, that I am not able to offer you more assistance.
Please let me know you have read this post ... so this topic can be closed.
Thanks for your understanding,
Wingman

Hello onuel,
I understand, you use this computer for personal use as well as business use.
Unfortunately, I must reiterate the MRU policy on such a situation. (See my previous post for more details)

Well my mistake by listing it as business computer. its not really a real business, its just an internet marketing thing nothing serious. I was already helped once here so I know what is going to be done on my PC. If my PC got screwed up, then its better because it will just give me a reason to buy a new one. As suppose to what it is right now since I can't even use it half of the time.

If you still can't help me, that's fine and thanks anyway for responding.

Guess I'm off to buy a new PC since getting someone to fix it will cost more than to buy a new one.

Keep up the good work guys, I'll be an MRU grad someday only if I can ever find a time to learn it lol.

Regards,
Regie
