Malware problems

Unread postby estheblessed » August 29th, 2009, 5:18 am

Hi,

I have definitely got some malware running on my machine. AVG picked up a trojan after I was using IE7. I can't execute hijackthis or spybot or ad-ware? When I try to do so my machine rebooted once and on other occassions the program just doesnt load [but I can see it under processes].

Also ... when I click a link from a google search [using Firefox], every now and then, it sends me to a completely random page in a new tab?

Also ... I notice that there are loads of exe files running under processes, one of which is iexporer.exe which I cannot see but I can hear the sound of ... like the webpage is viewing a video or audio. I can kill this but it keeps coming back - so something is opening IE and going to a webpage.

Not sure where I can go with this as I cannot run hijackthis or install any new malware to try and detect and remove this ... any help would be gratefully appreciated?

Thanks,
estheblessed
