I can't even seem to run hijackthis?

Only program I can run is AVG at the minute!

Any ideas on what to do?

AVG is picking up a trojan and file in temp called a.exe

I cant seem to run any anti-spyware or install anything.

Also Firefox and IE both keep forwarding my google links onto some other web page - windowsclick.com or something.

Malware HELP ...

Unread postby estheblessed » August 28th, 2009, 3:34 pm

Hi,

I have definitely got some malware running on my machine. AVG picked up a trojan after I was using IE7. I can't execute hijackthis or spybot or ad-ware? When I try to do so my machine reboots or the program just doesnt load.

Also ... when I click a link from a google search I go to a different page?

Also ... I notice that there are loads of exe files running under processes, one of which is iexporer.exe which I cannot see but I can hear the sound ... like the webpage is viewing a video or audio.

Any help on where to go with this is very helpful!

Thanks,

We're sorry, but it is necessary to close your topic because you have replied to it prior to receiving a response from a helper.

Due to adding on to your topic with your second post it is highly unlikely that you would have received a response. Our helpers are looking for topics with zero responses. When you post replies to your own topic, it no longer has zero responses, and so it appears that you have received help when in fact, you have not.

If you still require help, please follow these instructions, open a new thread in the Malware Removal forum and wait for assistance. Please do not run additional programs and/or post additional logs. Just your HijackThis log to start with is adequate. Your helper will ask for additional logs as needed. DO NOT reply to your own topic until you have received a response from a helper. Be patient. There are others who have been waiting longer than you, so do not expect an immediate reply.

Thank you for your cooperation.
