A very interesting article.

However I would have reservations about storing any data in the cloud prefering to have my own potable drive.
There are considerations for businesses relating to the cloud which involves part of the UK data protection act. Basically the company directors are responsible where the data is stored which must be in the UK or at least in the EU. MS and others will not give any guarantee that the data will stored in those countries. So for businesses the cloud is not a legal option.
Also the EULA give no guarantee that if there is any downtime or server failure that information will be retreavable. They are only responsible to refund that months rental with no other financial restitution.
