Hello, since my original posting, the 'run once C:\ etc' line that was appearing every time I clicked on anything has stopped. (It was WinPatrol pro that was picking up on this and the line is not in their current database).

I've since manged to run Kaspersky and it has found a trojan in two files in my Hotmail / Delete folder.

Then I ran TotalVirus on the files, which found the Trojan plus a bank phishing virus? (I've saved all of the logs).

Todate, I have not cleared my 'Delete Folder' in Hotmail as I'm waiting for advice from yourselves. Nor have I sent out any emails from this laptop until I get the all-clear from your good selves.

Thank you for your help, Bof:) :)
