search results go to different site - hijack this log

every now and then, after searching on google, I'll click on a link for a particular site, but I end up on a completely different site.

I've run many different programs for adware, malware, and nothing has been found, so I'm hoping Hijack this log will show something which is being missed.

• Look under Misc tools.
• Click on the Open Uninstall Manager... button.
• Click on the Save list... button.
• It will prompt you to save. Save this log in a convenient location. By default it's named uninstall_list.txt.
• Notepad will open. Please copy and paste the contents of this log in your next reply.

You aren't running Anti Virus Software
You seem to use ClamWin as your antivirus software. It could be a good scanner, but it doesn't seem to have real-time scanning. Please install an antivirus program with real-time scanning:

1) Antivir PersonalEditionClassic
-Free anti-virus software for Windows.
-Detects and removes more than 50,000 viruses. Free support.
2) avast! 4 Home Edition
-Anti-virus program for Windows.
-The home edition is freeware for noncommercial user.
3) AVG Anti-Virus Free Edition
- Free edition of the AVG anti-virus program for Windows.
- Available for single computer use for home and non commercial use.

It is strongly recommended that you run only one antivirus program at a time. Having more than one antivirus program active in memory uses additional resources and can result in program conflicts and false virus alerts.


Export part of the registry
I need to see a part of your registry.

• Click Start > Run
• Copy and paste the following:
  

  Code: Select all

  REGEDIT /e "%USERPROFILE%\Desktop\Results.txt" "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\software\microsoft\windows nt\currentversion\drivers32"

• Click OK.
• Post the Results.txt that appears on your desktop here. It might take a small while to come up though - there is no progress bar so just be patient.

Please download GooredFix from one of the locations below and save it to your Desktop

• Ensure all Firefox windows are closed.
• To run the tool, double-click it (XP), or right-click and select Run As Administrator (Vista).
• When prompted to run the scan, click Yes.
• GooredFix will check for infections, and then a log will appear. Please post the contents of that log in your next reply (it can also be found on your desktop, called GooredFix.txt).

RSIT

• Download random's system information tool (RSIT) by random/random from here and save it to your desktop.
• Double click on RSIT.exe to run RSIT.
• Click Continue at the disclaimer screen.
• Once it has finished, two logs will open. Please post the contents of both log.txt (<< will be maximized) and info.txt (<< will be minimized)

Please post:
1) The registry export
2) The GooredFix report
3) The RSIT-logs
