Google redirecting malware please help

Unread postby fmicw » July 8th, 2009, 3:30 pm

hello,
i seem to have been infected with malware. All search engine links redirect to random sites... nothing bad really, just not where i want to be! Also i seem to get a lot of popups.

I used the malware removal guide on Major Geek Forums and it didn't really work.

I have run SUPERAnti Spyware FREE, Malwarebytes Anti-Malware, RootRepeal, SpyBot and MGTools. Various infections were found along the way!

I beleive MGTools has integrated Hijackthis, the log of which has been attached below.

Please assist as to what i can do to ensure i am clean, otherwise i will start backing up for a reformat!

Thanks
