Hello Malware Removal, I am so glad to have found this forum! I hope you can help me...

My 2003 Dell laptop seems to be infected with some kind of trojan or other malware. Upon start-up my normal desktop background changed to a message beginning with "Warning! You're in danger! Your system is infected with spyware!" It goes on to warn that my "boss, friends, wife, children" could see the things on my computer. It also automatically started up a scan by a program called SystemSecurity that detected spyware, but then wanted me to purchase its full version. I can't seem to get rid of this program. Another symptom is that my Task Manager has been disabled. Any program I attempt to run refuses to open.

I've already run Spybot, Windows Defender and Lavasoft AdAware but it didn't fix the problem.

Okay, that might be TMI, but here is the log from my HijackThis:

Due to lack of response this topic is now closed.

If you still require help, please open a new thread in the Infected? Virus, malware, adware, ransomware, oh my! forum, include a fresh FRST log, and wait for a new helper.
