Outlook 2007 functions erratically

Unread postby JHD4047 » May 21st, 2009, 4:22 pm

Approximately a week ago, started receiving error message requesting a file be debugged (did not copy the exact message), this was happening several times during the day when using Outlook. The last couple of days have been receiving Server Busy notification Outlook is slow to respond, many times it is necessary to move the Outlook window around on the screen to get all the information to show. Responds extremely slow to commands. E-mail retrieval is extremely slow.

Have run AdAware, scanned with McAfee Virusscan, run disc clean and defragged, no help.

Do not want to format HDD if possible because of time constraints

This site deals in malware removal and is not a general troubleshooting site. If your issues are not related to malware, you would be best served by posting at a site that has a troubleshooting forum. AumHa Forums has a section devoted to dealing with various Microsoft e-mail clients. If your issues are related only to problems with Outlook, you may want to have a look there:

However, If you believe your issues are related to malware, then in order for us to help you it will be necessary for you provide us with a HijackThis log. Please follow the guideline at the link below to start a new topic and post your HijackThis log.
