I noticed a few days ago that my AVG would not update any longer and I started investigating what was causing the problem.
At the time I had Malwarebytes and AVG only installed on my PC. Over the past several days I have attempted to find the issue and have come up with not much, I have run the MS Malware removal tool (nothing) and the Onecare online scanner, 1 virus found and removed, however I still cannot run these apps. When I attempt to run either the regedit or command line the entire screen goes blank, like it was loading windows for the first time and closes out. I have managed to install and update Zonealarm and SuperAntiSpyware, both found a few more problems and suposedly removed them. I think I know what the issues are when I look at the logs but I have, as of yet, been unable to remove them.
