Security Violation, Critical warnings etc....

Unread postby GeniusMagic » May 15th, 2009, 10:54 pm

Hi - I have Windows Vista running on my computer and offlate I have started getting warnings such "Critical Warning", "Trojan virus detected" and "Security Violation error" etc. These warnings apear in the system tray as a pop up and keep appearing repeatedly.

These warnings seem to be generated by a so called "Personal Antivirus" program sitting in the system tray. I do not know whether this program and warnings are genuine or not.

Can someone please help me clean my laptop ?

It appears that your computer has very likely been infected by a rogue (fake) anti-virus.
