cdrom infected-already have cyberdefender and it wont detect

My cdrom was working and I downloaded some files and now it refuses to recognize new cds. I purchased cyberdefender and it will not detect the malware. I am pretty sure my prob is in my bootlog, but I am exhausting every option to fix this problem. Without a cd drive, no GAMES!!
I get an error msg that my cd drive is corrupted and unreadable. I have tried uninstalling and all that stuff. It's some sort of trojan in my bootlog, i think. Please help and offer guidance.
