Welcome to the forums!

I'm Odd dude (OD for friends ;) ) and I'll try my best to help you clean the malware off your system.
Please be aware that removing malware is hazardous. Be sure to have backups of anything important before you begin the cleaning. I'm not saying everything we do is woefully dangerous to your computer, but just in case something should happen, it's always nice to have a backup.

You have TeaTimer running
This is good as TeaTimer protects you from many malicious changes to your registry. However, TeaTimer is a computer program, which has no way of distinguishing between good or malicious intentions; this means it might hinder the modifications I need to make to your system.

This means that TeaTimer will need to be disabled until you have been cleaned of malware.

  • Right-click on the Tea Timer icon in your system tray. It looks like this: Image
  • If you have the new version 1.5: click once on Resident Protection, then right click the Spybot icon again and make sure Resident Protection is now unchecked. The Spybot icon in the System tray should now be now colourless.
  • If you have Version 1.4, Click on Exit Spybot S&D Resident

This is not enough, there is a second step attached:

  • Open Spybot S&D
  • Click Mode, choose Advanced Mode
  • Go to the bottom of the vertical panel on the left and click Tools
  • Now, also in left panel, click Resident - the pictogram shows a red/white shield.
  • In the Resident protection status frame, uncheck the box labelled Resident "Tea-Timer"(Protection of over-all system settings) active
  • OK any prompts.
  • Use File > Exit to close Spybot
  • Reboot your machine for the changes to take effect.

When I give you the all-clear post, remember to reenable it!

Temporarily disable Norton Antivirus
We need to temporarily disable Norton Antivirus, so it won't interfere with what we need to do.

  • Please right click the Norton Antivirus system tray icon.
  • Choose Disable Auto-Protect
  • Select a duration of five hours, so that it will not interfere with what we need to do
  • Click OK

Do not forget to reverse this process before going back on-line!

ComboFix
IMPORTANT NOTE: ComboFix is a VERY POWERFUL tool. DO NOT use it without expert guidance.

ComboFix uses very brute tactics to rip malware off your system. Do not panic if your antivirus software warns you about the file.

:!: Please disable all your antivirus software, firewalls, and antispyware software BEFORE running ComboFix!! :!:

(If I should give more detailed instructions regarding how to do this, please inform me and do not proceed)

  • Download ComboFix from here and save it to your desktop.
  • Disable ALL antivirus/antimalware programs before proceeding!
  • Now start ComboFix.
  • The tool will check whether the Recovery Console is present on your system. If it is not, ComboFix will prompt you whether you would like to install it.
  • If it is not, make sure you are connected to the internet as ComboFix needs to download a file. When you are connected to the internet, click Yes and follow the prompts. When asked whether to continue scanning or to exit, click Yes to continue scanning (no need to disconnect from the internet as ComboFix breaks your internet connection for you).
  • Do not touch the computer AT ALL while ComboFix is running! (Unless ComboFix needs you to do something ;))
  • When finished, the report will open. Reenable your protection software and post the log in your next reply.

If you cannot connect to the internet after running ComboFix, plug the cable/reciever/whatever you use to connect to the internet out and back in.

Make an Uninstall List
I need you to create an uninstall list so I can further analyze your situation.

  • Start HijackThis.
  • Click Open the Misc Tools section
  • Click Open Uninstall Manager
  • Click Save list...
  • Save the list to your desktop, or any other convenient place and post it in your next reply.

Post:
- combofix log
- uninstall list
- new hijackthis log
Split it over multiple posts if it won't fit into one. Thanks :)

Due to a lack of response, this topic is now closed.

If you still require help, please open a new thread in the Infected? Virus, malware, adware, ransomware, oh my! forum, include a fresh FRST log, and wait for a new helper.
