possible conficker worm?????

Hi there I am unable to connect to Microsoft web site and heard that I might be infected with the Conficker worm. Is this the place to ask this question, and if so any comments please. Thank You Larry

They will probably make it new again.... By reformatting..

I found this nice eye chart which is an easy test to see if you are infected with Conficker. The only downside is that there are also other things which can block the images (bad settings) and with a proxy you would always see all images.

Conficker blocks access to anti-virus sites as well, if you could not access anti-virus sites then you were POSSIBLY infected with conficker, or it could be another malware variant. As Elrond suggested it would have been a good idea to post a HJT log because help is free ;)

Was unable to run a hjt scan. The pc was so unresponceive It proboley would have token a week to complete. Each click would take 1/2 to 1 1/2 hours to respond.. :(
