Hi setts,

Please remove this old version of Java as it's a security vulnerability.

Click on Start > Control Panel and double click on Add/Remove Programs. Find Java(TM) 6 Update 7 and click on Change/Remove button to uninstall it.

Any other issues?

Hi ,

Deleted the java program. Tried to open the Cubase program and it still won't open. Might have to a complete system installation?

Thanks so much for your help

Hi setts,

That's probably not needed. Can you try re-installing Cubase again?

I did , no luck. I got another copy of Cubase -same version- and got the exact same problem. It starts to initialise and than gets stuck before it can open and crashes, its quite frustrating.

Hi setts,

You might want to try these sites for help:

Cubase Forums

Cubase Knowledge Base

These people would know more about Cubase than me, and would be in a better position to help you.

I'm afraid that I can't help you in this area, as we are trained in malware removing rather than tech support.

Unless you have more malware issues (I don't see any, which is good news :) ) , I would need to direct you to Cubase support forums.

As this remaining issue does not involve malware and therefore falls outside the scope of this forum, this topic is now closed.
