My first virus. Can you guys help?

Hey everyone. A friend of mine recomended this site after he got a virus and this forum helped him out a great deal.

I was doing a virus scan this morning using AVG Free (note: I don't usually run virus scans often, every 2-3 weeks) and I found a trojan.

I'm not sure where this virus came from. I don't usually download stuff. I get my music from iTunes and my games from Steam.

I read that I was meant to submit a log so here it is. ( "I think this is it: F2 - REG:system.ini: Shell=Explorer.exe C:\WINDOWS\winlogon.exe")

Are you using this as a server? Is it a business computer? If neither nor then why is it running Windows 2003?
We are really not set up to handle Windows server Operating systems.

Due to lack of response, this topic is now closed.

If you still require help, please open a new thread in the Infected? Virus, malware, adware, ransomware, oh my! forum, include a fresh FRST log, and wait for a new helper.
