Hi all,

My name's Miguel, and you guys helped me w/a virus issue on this desktop last year, and I greatly appreciate it.

However, I think my mom (who owns this computer) inadvertently downloaded a virus; I know because AVG initially popped up a warning, and my mom left it with the warning popup in place. When I saw it, I clicked on "heal", and moved on from there.

When I rebooted this machine to install an mp3 software, the desktop disappeared. What's strange is that when it ctrl-alt-delete, the task manager comes up, and I am manually able to open up just about anything (EXCEPT explorer.exe).

I ran a complete scan w/avg, and it posted 5 viruses. 3 were removed/quarantined, but it wasn't able to do anything w/the other two. They were .sys files within a sys32 folder...

Help!!!!!
