International Computer Security Day -- November 30

November 30 is internationally recognized as Computer Security Day. Please use this occasion to take at least one action to improve the security on your computer.

Here are just a few suggestions on what you can you do:

-- Change your password(s) to strong passwords. At minimum, mix upper case and lower case letters, numbers, and special symbols. Thelonger the better!

-- <*cough*> Remove the "sticky" from under your keyboard that has all your passwords written on it!

-- Update your Anti-virus software and run a full system scan

-- Check for Windows updates

-- Delete unneeded files

-- Back up important files

On that day my computer got crazy. Later I found that it received 13 pieces of malware, which were not detected by my regular checks. So I started search and research. And now I'm here.
