Advert e-mails being sent using my address list and account

Below is my Hijackthis log file. Advertising e-mails have been sent to all the e-mail addresses in my OE address book - and sent from my yahoo e-mail address. I have carried out scans with my AVG anti virus and also Spybot but nothing turned up. I therefore installed Avira anti virus to see it that would trum up anything. It did find DR/Aureate - but this is not related to the problem I had. You will see that both AVG and Avira are installed but I disable Avira on boot up in case they clash. The Advertising e-mails appear to come from China and advertise a Chinese company. Can you please identify from the log the file so that I can remove this infection? Thanks

Hi JohnWill,

Have you had any warnings from your protection software? Have you noted any indications of infection other than the spam emails?

I appreciate your desire to clean your machine, but using one antivirus program at once is best because as you mentioned they can conflict and cause system problems. I note you have disabled one at boot up, but I can see from the log that the system services are running and probably the drivers are as well so a conflict is still very possible. You should remove one of these programs immediately.

Please remove one of the antivirus programs before proceeding. If you have any problems, please stop and let me know.

Download RSIT by random/random to your Desktop (right-click the link, select Save Target As..., select your Desktop and press Save)

• Double click RSIT.exe to start the program, and click Continue at the disclaimer screen.
• When the scan is complete, two text files will open - log.txt <- this one will be maximized and info.txt <-this one will be minimized
• Make sure Format->Word Wrap is unchecked
• Copy (Ctrl+A then Ctrl+C) and paste (Ctrl+V) the contents of log.txt and info.txt in your reply

Once complete, please post both RSIT logs, you won't need to produce a new HijackThis log as RSIT produces one for you.
